Our local zoo attempted to do their first full day herp survey and I was offered the chance to join in because of the "Snake Responder" thing. Jonathan, Laura (Jonathan's 3rd grade teacher), Dave (Laura's husband) and 2 other people formed the uplands team. I was the most experienced herper on the team (you know this train is in trouble)! Lots of salamaders, toads, boogers (Spring Peepers), and wood frogs. So much fun!
