I bought my ig some yuca root, but honestly I'm not sure how to prepare it for her. Any suggestions?

"Should be peeled, washed, boiled and mashed. Raw yucca may contain chemicals that cause digestive upset. "
After boiling it you could use a carrot peeler and peel it as opposed to mashing it. I don't mean peeling the skin off and feeding that - I mean after you have peeled the skin off - to use the peeler to shred strips. I hadn't really thought of mashing a food and then feeding it to my iguana but if it's easier that way, then hey, who's complaining?
