Man bites python
****... wish we knew the species! Anyone have any guesses?
I read this in the news, it's quite something!
A big species if it was hunting livestock and decided a person would do. and Haulled him up a tree. Yikes!
Being Africa it would probably have to be a Rock python(Python sebae) . I can't think of any other African species big enough to drag a man up into a tree.
I would have to agree with Merlin a Rock python would probably be the only species able to do this.
Another validation of the need to fed F/T!!!!!!!!
ROFLMAO! Good one Merlin. Seroiusly though I seem to remember another story from last year along these same lines, but I think the man bit the python until the snake died. I don't recall the type of python though. Just what we need to hear about when exotic owners are in the shadow of HR669. Luckily it wasn't in the US, and it was a wild python.
Must have been an AfRock.
Interesting reverse of the norm stories.
I was thinking rock python too, wasn't sure tho.. saw one on craigslist about 2 weeks ago.. then it was gone a couple days later, dunno if it was bogus or if they just wouldn't let him barter that beastly thing on there, or if it actually sold and the post was removed...
That's something you don't hear everyday!
When I was a small child I bit my grandmother and to punish me she bit me back and so I kind of had this strange image in my head of that only snake syle...
