Hey so I was wondering if its ok that my corn snake sneezes every now and then. Mostly I notice it when she's out and about and its not all that often maybe once every five minutes or so. She is in Aspen bedding and is eating regularly (every sunday) she is active and alert and has healthy and timly sheds.

She doesn't seem to be in any trouble or anything like that just sneezes every now and then

It could be that the bedding is dusty and irritating her...have you tired paper towels as a substrate? Does any mucus come out when she sneezes?

No mucus. Just little sneezes. and It could be I'll get some newspaper or paper towels and try swtiching her bedding.

What temps and humidity do you maintain?

My snake has only made sneezing noises when he had RI, and when he dunks his head too deep in the water during a bath.. Low temps and stress can cause RI. Check to see if there is any wheezing/heavy breathing sometimes too!

If the aspen is dusty that could be possible, but we never had that problem on aspen
