My wood turtle has a pink marking under her belly. It isn't soft or smelly, but if I put slight pressure on it, it turns back to the normal white color. I just want to make sure she is okay. Does anyone know what it could be or if it is just normal? photo 1.jpg

Our aquatics lab found a baby wood turtle and brought it back to the lab with us, and it's now too cold to let it go back into the wild so I planned to release it in the Spring. Currently it is in a 10 gallon tank with half of it being a 'pool' area. The other side is wood chips that she's likes to bury under at night. I just have a normal desk light on her that she likes to lay under and bask. The temperature remains around 70ºF. I feed her a mixture of fruits and a mix of frozen meal worms and crustaceans, plus pellets.
