Yes its a sav. I suggest doing as much research on their proper care as possible and change what needs to be changed based on their requirements. There is a care sheet pinned to the monitor lizard subforum here

No worries. Read over that as a crash course and please take no offense by others flooding you with advice (and please feel free to ask for some as well). Having advice handed to you has nothing to do with you as a person (its never meant to be taken as an insult), its to make your monitor live a better life in captivity and it comes from the heart about being passionate that good husbandry is deserved by all animals. I myself keep a sav as well. I've got a lot to say but I want you to read up on their care first before offering anything
