My little leopard gecko, Hotdog, has been acting strange. I'm hoping I'm just being overly-protective, but these are the symptoms:

-Rubbing himself on objects when he passes them
-If you shine a flashlight to his skin, there are about 4 pin-sized, shiny specks on his neck/head area
-He didn't eat last night, but sometimes he's does that when he is sick of a certain insect I'm feeding him

Also, he just shed, so it can't be that. I really hope it isn't something like mites- I'm very careful with him- and the only new arrival I've gotten was a little pacman frog about two months ago. I clean his cage offen and whipe down everything in there. He doesn't share anything/interact with any of my other reptiles. As always, thanks for the help.
