Just a quick note to warn everyone about a danger I've found with UV light reflectors.

I bought a zoo-med reflector a few months ago and when I fitted it there was a small gap between the back of the tank and the reflector.

My ig loved going behind there cause I think he felt safe. The other night he was coming back out from hiding when he slipped and he ended up hanging by his neck from this gap. At first I hadn't realised he was stuck so he was there for about 5 minutes. Luckily I was home at the time otherwise there could have been a terrible out come.

The gap is now taped up so he can no longer get up there. So please make sure there is no gaps that your animals can not get trapped any where that could prove fatal.

Be careful with the tape....if he works it off the enclosure wall it can make for a sticky and painful mess, thanks for the warning bout the reflectors :D and glad to hear your iggy is ohk
