    Hi everyone,

I have a Cuban Knight Anole, and I am looking to include live plants in his terrarium. My plan is to lay down Zoo Med Hydro Balls at the bottom, Zoo Med Mesh over that, and then a layer of Zoo Med Eco Earth. Does this sound viable?

In general, what are the pros and cons of including live plants in an enclosure, and what common mistakes I should avoid?

Also, I have a thick branch that is prefectly measured to run from top to bottom. Is it ok to "work around" it when laying down the drainage/mesh/substrate, or do I want that branch over the layers?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
