Hi there. I am currently housing a Leopard Gecko and am using an UTH to warm one side of the tank. I have his warm hide and his humid hide virtually right next to each other. In order to keep his humid hide nice and humid I put a wet paper towel inside and let the UTH do its work. My question is this. If I have the humid hide over the UTH, and water from the paper towel seeps down and gets the reptile carpet wet, will that do any damage to the glass or UTH? The heater is on the outside, but I know that hot glass and water don't usually mix well. I just want to make sure it's not going to crack the glass or damage anything.
