Update on Nikita,part1

    I meassured her skin and it was well over 6'. Does anybody know if it is true that you need to take away 10% of the length of the skin and then you get the snakes real length? But as you never get snake skin smooth,you never get the right length anyway,so her skin could as well have been 7' if you would iron it,lol! ;)
    As I will feed Nikita for the first time,in about half an hour,part 2 will follow soon!Hope it all goes well! :)

    Most of my books say subtract 15-20% to get the true length. (so something around 18% is probably close.)

    Since shed snake skin stretches considerably during the shedding process and not necessarily the same amount in different areas of the skin its impossible to get an accurate measurement.
