I've read a lot of conflicting things about what to use as a substrate for AFTs. Currently, I've been using papertowels in a moist hide, but I've been told by experienced owners that they prefer the more naturalistic bed-a-beast type substrates. Some even have beautiful planted terrariums.

What are your opinions on this, from experience? I'm setting up a lovely enclosure for my fire skink with bed-a-beast and I'll have plenty left over if it's a better choice for my little fattie.

    Thanks in advance,
