Boy, I'm all alone in this thread, huh? :) This is Pita, who is thriving. Ate 2 pinks (unscented!!!!) a few days ago. Can't wait to see him grow.

Yeah, but he could catch a small mouthed bass now instead of a sunfish. ;) Look at how fat he is!!! You said he looked like a nightcrawler when I first got him. Or was that Midget?

No he was WAY skinner than Midget.

He's beautiful; sorry about the other one. Hopefully this one will continue to thrive and grow.
How big will he get when full-grown? He's soooo tiny now... so sweet!

    Good luck with him! :)

    Thanks, all.
Black Jack - The Solomons get between 3-4 feet long, with the females being the larger of that range. They are neat looking snakes, but their metabolism is darned slow! I've had that guy for about 6 months, maybe more (I'm really bad with time....) and he has grown significantly, if you can believe it. He was 4 grams when I brought him home, and about 6-8 inches long. :) He's only shed 1X for me.

    Thanks Merlin.

Kathy that's such a shame. But I'm glad to hear the other is doing so well!

Thanks Dom. It was touch and go with both of them from the beginning, so I'm thrilled that one managed to make it and seems to be thriving.
