So, as elaborated on in a few other threads, my little guy had to be put down since he had some form of muscular dystrophy and it was progressing rapidly. The breeder sent me a new snake last week, free of charge, and also said he would not be breeding the pair that produced Mercutio together again. There isn't really any way to know if it was just luck of the draw or an actual hereditary trait, but nevertheless. My new little guy is Enkidu. He's younger than Mercutio was. Mercutio was about 15 months when I got him, and Enkidu is about 9 months. He's very pretty and I'll be uploading pics soon. I just fed him his first f/t hopper and he took it like a champ. I'll get some pics in a couple days, once he's digested. Let's all hope it goes better this time around!
