Got in a female CBB Taiwan beauty ratsnake last night from a friend. Not to sure if I'm gonna keep her do to limitid space. I have always wanted a beauty rat but was not planning on having one any time soon do to their large size (for a rat snake). I really do wish to keep her so we'll see what I can come up with as far as an enclosure go's. Gonna look into stacking large and heavy enclosures.

She had an almost perfect shed today.

They can get 9 feet, they stay thin though, I paid $120 for mine, I am sure in the USA they are much cheaper :)

    oh my god, she's beautiful.
I hope you get to keep her. Out of all the snakes I've ever had to get rid of, my taiwan is the one miss the most. I had to get rid of it due to a situation with the person I was living with, long story. I've wanted one ever since. But I also wound up with an 11 pound dog that may as well be my son (very unhealthy dependent relationship with this dog :p ), and I'm VERY paranoid that a taiwan might get lose and get my dog :\

what are you using for substrate? My northern pine loves to burrow and I'd like to give him something other than aspen

When I get rid of that yellow rat, we're going to have an extra enclosure :]
It won't be as nice as yours, BUT, it will be a nice place for a Taiwan :p

grgeous got a vietnamese beauty and love him.
hes always out and climbing as put loads of branches and shelves i made using cut down branches, also screwed loads of short stubby bits of forked branches to sides that he uses alot along with plenty of greenery.
only a juvenile at mo and in a 4x2x2, but when hes ready will be building him an 8x4x2 lxhxd.
