Here's a pic of my smallest Ackie burrowing in the substrate (YAY) Finally it's working the way I need it to. First I got a suitable sand/gravel/clay mix and then with the bentonite spraying and water spraying the surface it hardened up.[IMG]

    This is AWESOME!!! Mike!

Can you post some more detailed pix and steps how you made it, if you have time?

I am glad that you have finally managed to accomplish this !:)

Glad to see it's working for you. Great pic. I find sand/clay mixes perfect for dry loving burrowing reptiles.

Now that I know how to accomplish it. I plan to do it in my large enclosure. Of course I'll need 15 times the amount of substrate. I'll give more details when I set that up. I still need to run the underground lines for moisture. They need to be fastened down somehow. They keep getting pushed up to the top by the soil.
