  1. I saw alot of people writing to make sure that you get Aquarium safe silicone which is true, the anti-fungal additives or curing agents are harmful to herps. But you dont have to spend a fortune to find it. Lowes etc. has GE SILICONE 1 for doors and windows. Look at the ingredients it must say 100% silicone. GE Silicone 2 is for bathrooms and has the anti-fungal properties. Aquarium builders use GE Silicone 1 for fish aquarium that are submitted to long periods of water exposure. If you need a small amount just get a tube at fish store. If you need a lot like I do for sealing my whole wood cage you can get tube of this. Just read the label make sure its 100% silicone no additives I know the brand above works. Aquarium safe is a marketing scheme regardlessly. Its 100% silicone
