How big does a savannah have to be to eat a pinky?
If you're concerned the prey might be too big. Then it probably is. You can always cut in it half. It's hard to say according to length because some fill out faster and some grow in length faster. Just stick with the cricket rule of thumb for feeding. The distance between the eyes should be the maximum length of the food. That way if it goes down sideways they won't choke.
