First off, it is incredibly difficult to type with a baby Hogg around your fingers.
Anyhow... we have a baby Rhino viper. During her last shed she got about a 1/4 inch of shed stuck on the tip of her tail. Normally, I'd use the pillowcase trick, but I'm not sure if we want to risk that. We've tried soaking her but she won't get it off on her own. I don't know what to do. =/

Try a little mineral oil on the stubborn spot, then see if you can't rub it off with a Qtip.

Ummmm not exactly the best idea for a venomous species!:p

Hannah I would suggest that you use the pillowcase trick. Possibly put the viper in a snake sack and then in the pillowcase.
    Be careful!

I think the pillowcase is the only option we have left. She's too small to tail or pin and we don't exactly have a hospital with viper anti-venom nearby. Or any anti-venom, really. Thank goodness we're moving back to Philly!
