if you order the 3.0, it dosent look like crickets will be required. if you order the original, it looks like it would be good to add crickets. your choice, but it really comes down to the bugs.

yeah ill end up feeding him crickets too... i love crickets. plus im getting 1000 crickets on saturday....for my two beardies.. so might as well feed him some too!:D

so 3.0 and no crickets, and orginal and crickets.. hmmm...if i get orgianal, should i get flavor peach, mango, or original flavor?

well, i don't really know. it looks like the only difference is flavour, so maybe try all of them and see which one he eats? or just get one and go with it, it dosent really look like there is a difference.

He's adorable. If you do continue to use that terrarium you should flip it vertically because they are climbers. Glad that you saved him :)

Yeah i know he is super adorable!

And yeah i plan on using it... unless i can get some eco terra tank CHEAP.

And how would i turn it vertically?

check on your local classifieds or at local garage sales for cheap vertical terrariums. and if your local petshop re sells traded in ones, that might be another good place to look. that's how i got my crestie terrarium :)

a tenner is fine temporarily, but i say a 18x18x18 would be minimum. they do love to move around, if after hours :)

I would say harlequin. 10gallons are ok temporarily, but are best turned up on end to maximize the height. You can't do that with the substrate you have now. I suggest getting a few more fake plants.

CGD 3.0 is the newest formula and geckos seem to like it. Either 2.0 or 3.0 is fine, you can feed bugs or not, your choice. Just be sure the majority of his food is CGD, it's hard to tell if you are feeding both crickets and CGD so most recommend only feeding the prepared diet for the first few weeks.

    Good luck! :)

harlequin. hes a pretty looking guy, i have to say. and from what i've read, the 3.0 is a more complete diet, eliminating the need for other foods. just my 2c.
