My mom picked this up for me at a used book store. I'm pretty sure it is out of print, and can find no publication date on it anywhere. Their use of the term "Giant Snakes" is used to mean Boas and Pythons - including ball pythons. The only things I have this far been able to tell about it's age is that it was sometime after 1996, because it references literature published in that year. Of note, it also refers to Green Tree Pythons as Chondropython viridis, rather than Morelia viridis. I don't know when that was reclassified. Burmese pythons also have a different name, but I know that too has been reclassified a few times. Good pictures, and good general information, much of which is still relevant. Published by TFH, who still publishes pet care and herp-related books and magazines.
