I'm going to the pet store today to get a heating pad for the bottom of my leopard geckos tank
I try to keep her tank between 82 and 92 degrees around the clockbut recently I've been told that 82 degrees is not warm enough for geckos tank
what is the lowest temperature and what is the highest temperature the tank should be for the day and for the night
We live in the desert so the temperature drops very low at night and I'm not sure how warm the night temperature should be in the tank at that time

The ideal temperature range to house a leopard gecko at would be 85-90 degrees in the "basking spot". (That would be where the uth is located.)

The cooler end of the enclosure should not fall below 70 degrees but should also not exceed 79 degrees. Ideally, a range between 74-78 degrees should be aimed for. There should be a hide spot located on this end of the enclosure as well.
