Goblin, my gargoyle gecko, confirmed last week that she was indeed a girl. As I was moving her tank into the UHaul, I noticed an egg rolling around the bottom. She has never been in with a male so there is no way it is fertile.

Now I'm concerned about her becoming egg bound. Is there a way to prevent this? Something I should be adding extra into her diet or into her enclosure? I've never had a reptile lay any egg before so this is all new to me.

Excellent question, (and one I have been wondering about as well)...I'll be keeping an eye on this thread and hope to find out how to best help my female herps.
