Pretty simple...share some snaps of your dogs! (Save the cats for another thread :D)
I'll start it off with my two knuckle heads...
Race (100% beagle and it shows...aka: what was I thinking?)
Logan (Shiba Inu; Resident fur provider)

Beautiful! Love beagles. Had one for many, many years.

Here's my Allie. She was GAPeaches foster and I crazily (my husbands thought) drove from IN to pick her up. We love her!

Great looking canines! Here is my dog Scrappy

These two are my dads dogs which I was babysitting last week. He is fostering these two for a friend who runs a rescue. First up is Pepe, a dachshund/chiuaua mix

And this is Lefty. I believe he is a shi tzu, but he's probably got some other stuff in him. He's not very friendly, but he's all bark (and lots of it lol). He got his name because he always has his left ear held straight up.

The boys after they decided they need to go outside... then realized it was raining and ran back inside!

This is Ein being eaten by a chupacabra.

And his revenge on the chupacabra...

    Edgar with his favorite toy.

    And his favorite sock.

And finally, Bailey, my niece's chihuahua. He is ridiculously calm and was super easy to train.

And because I clearly have no pictures...
    Long car rides

    Comfortable brothers

    Hanging with mom

    And hanging with a pal

Everyone has some amazing canine pals!
Currently I have my 2 boys. Out of every pair of dogs I have had these 2 get along the best. There is no food agression between the two, they play non-stop.
Enzo a chocolate tan merel cocker spaniel
He is the love of my life :) My Mom always talked about wanting a red cocker spaniel so after she passed away I decided to get one. I posted an add for a female red and Enzo's owner contacted me. It was a 2 hour drive away. I went to see him and he was living in a parrot cage, so very shy and scared of everything. He is 80% better now, still has some issues with men and people with hats.
He is a very gentle soul and gets along very well with other animals (well except birds!)
2 months ago a friend had contacted me to ask if I knew anyone who wanted a puppy. She was dog sitting and the owner did not want the dog back. So we decided to go see him and ended up falling instantly in love with the fluffy ball!
Toby the dashchund shih tzu mix
    The day we got him
After I clipped him, he was very good for his 1st grooming :)

And together <3 Best buds forever!

How can I say no to this thread (and a chance to show off my boy ;D)

Wearing his hater-blockers (he's about eight months old here)

    Sleeping on his favorite bed

Why you SHOULD NOT get a husky... (this is only about a minute into his shed, and it was his first one. He is about twice as bad now)

    He's bored of pictures.

But then he goes and poses for the camera!

Very true I have fond memories of these guys and gals, and I'm trying to prepare for another loss. Even though I can't stand the other furry things (cats) one thats out lived 3 others is starting down that spiral. She chose me and hates everyone else... 14 years of this has her stuck in my head...

Sorry I'll stick with scales from now on...

Ha ha. You have no idea! He's shedding right now, actually. I HAVE to take him out every day and brush him with the furminator, because if I don't, our carpet is COVERED in fur. Not to mention it gets into the kitchen and our electronics! Thank goodness he is almost done shedding though! PHEW!

I like you all a little more now, first with the reptiles and then with the pups, you all are alright! ;)

Shiba Inus and Akitas are the same exact way! My boy sheds heavily twice a year...we literally fill up shopping bags with fur. It's the breeds number one downfall right ahead of the whole too cool for school not listening can forget about letting him off the leash in an ungated area.

I feel your pain. Steele is fairly responsive and listens to me when he's in an area he knows, but if he's at the dog park, FORGET IT! He's long gone and you're a thing of the past! Gosh, don't you love dogs! ;D

Ein is shedding right now... so far I have over half a paper bag full... Hopefully he'll be done by the weekend. I'll post a pic when it's finally over. >.<

Well, dogs, it's a double edged sword. Long hairs that shed twice a year, but SHED, or short hairs that shed nonstop. Then there's the ones that must be groomed. It's a trident! Dogs are a trident!
