This Disappears When Logged In

Please Help ID My Froggie

    Please help me ID my Frog...I got him from somebody immigrating.
    I have a few reptis..but this is first frog so I want to get all the correct care sheets.

    where did they immigrate from? that could narrow it down

    Was it a purchased frog or caught somewhere. And if so where was it caught? Country, state, province, or whatever.

    it looks like one of the species of striped marsh frogs found in australia, but knowing where your friend immigrated from would definitely help. both malaysia and south america have versions of striped frogs that are poisonous.

    That is a painted reed frog. Hyperolius marmoratus
    Found throughout most of Africa, including South Africa...quite a common species and VERY variable in colour.

    A noisy little species too :D... high pitched whistles.

    What do its pupils look like. Vertical or horizontal?

    Hi All, Confirmed it as a Painted Reed Frog.
