Plants for an Iguana?

    Which plants do you recommend keeping in the enclosure with the iguana?

    Where did you purchase your plants?

    Live plants really don't work in an iguana enclosure. What doesn't get eaten will just get torn up.

    What Merlin said. Heck, I think when I was trying to keep them years ago I had one that I would occasionally catch trying to bite the plastis plants I had in the cage for decoration. Had to take them out.

    If you can grow a few pots of fresh kale or collards, you can put those in there expressly to be eaten/destroyed, but that is about it.

    If you buy them from garden centers, be sure to wash them very thoroughly, as many ar treated with all sorts of pesticides before arriving there.
