My 11 yr old son wanted a pet for his birthday that was easy care and didn't die within a year like hamsters so the perfect fit was a rose hair tarantula!
Today we caught him getting ready to molt, his first time here with us!
Laying down on his bed of web (Look at those fangs!!)

    Taking off his clothes!

I believe you can sex them with this part of the molt? Can anyone confirm male or female?

Really hard to tell from this photo. I want to say female because I see a very vague piece that may be the flap. Could you zoom in on the part slightly above and between the first pair of book lungs? If you see two little nubs its a female.
