My iguana has suddenly started having orange gritty urates, he always has water but I don't think he drinks it much so I started putting his food in with his water so now he has no choice, I have to take him to the vet, but was just wondering If this is a sign of dehydration or is there a chance of kidney failure or parasites based on this photo?

This is often a sign of dehydration. However it could also indicate kidney issues. It's not a parasite indicator.

How are you housing it and what are you feeding?
