My carpet python has a large lump under her mouth. I do not know what it is, and I won't be able to take her to a vet until Saturday. I have attached a picture; can anyone lend some insight? Thank you!!

I have an update picture. In my extreme panic over the lump on her throat I did not notice that her branch I had mounted and completely fallen over. Is it possible this is the cause?

Have you opened the mouth to see if there is anything stuck in there? You can do it gently by holding the head and opening with the hard side of a qtip (not the cotton part as it may get stuck on something).

It may be. It's honestly too hard to tell. What did the vet say?
