So I've done my research and I've decided I may just get a leopard gecko! Now I've got more burning questions.

    1) Some sources say that I should leave my gecko alone for 3-4 days after purchase. How long did you leave your gecko alone for?
    2) How long can I leave my gecko alone for (my family is big on camping)?
    3) Is there a way I can take my gecko camping with me?
    4) Is there a supplement I can use so that I don't have to feed my gecko live insects? I do have dead mealworms, and I kinda know from my frog (she died) how to get reptiles to eat dead stuff.

Thanks! Any other advice is awesome :)

I recommend a week for the gecko to settle in to the new enclosure.
As long as everything is controlled, over a weekend the gecko will be fine. Much longer and somebody needs to check on them
not advised. Too many things to go wrong.
no. They need live food. A dead bug is just an empty husk.
