whats the most exciting thing to find on a herp search?
gotta go w/ a rattler,,,,hands down
Hmm, I gotta go with rattler. I've only seen a few in the wild, but I've seen plenty of coyotes and LOTS of deer. Never seen a wild kingsnake at all though, but I've seen enough in captivity.
The best thing that I could come across would be a black and white Pine snake! A HUGE ONE!!!!! < evil grin >
Then he would live at MY house too! lol
I'll go rattlesnake!
I've found a couple in the wild and it does get your attention!
well i would have to say rattlesnake becase i dont see them very much.
well deer will come up to the door looking for food around here so there not very exciting, more like annoying and a little scary
I'd be afraid to find a rattle snake though it would definatly be exciting i'd probably be watching it from 10ft back.
my favorite thing to find is something i've never found before. my most recent new discoverys where a large female redbellied turtle. dusky salamanders, and a yellow spotted salamander, im looking for worm, and hognose snakes this summer ithink
I will have to go with rattler, although that will never be possible for me
None of them!
The most exciting thing to find would be an escaped/dumped exotic!
Wouldn't it be shocking to find a Ball Python curled up in your back yard?
Yes,...as well as extreme annoyance at whoever dumped it!
My fav thing to find on herp counts is Timber Rattlesnakes. They are becoming increasingly rarer in Kansas, and its always nice to see there are still some out there. and theyre so pretty too.
Separate names with a comma.
