Monitor Lizard Taming

    Remembering that no monitor is truly tame as dog tame, she regards me as a neutral element in her life at the moment, i won't eat her/hurt her & i bring food, so she'll put up with me, note the tail whip between 2.44 & 2.46! :)

    No, I`ll respectfully disagree, they LEARN we can be of benefit to them, and can be extremely responsive (personal experience over many years, with a number of animals and species)... They are highly intelligent, and the more trusting they become, the more their ability to learn shows... ;)

    But in order to do that they must first realize that we are indeed neutral and not a threat to them.
    Otherwise we are just one more big "thing" that wants to eat them. :eek:
    And that is not just with monitors but any reptile

    Stefan, i don't disagree with what you say, what i should of said is this point in her life she regards me as a neutral element been the species of monitor that we both know are highly distrusting of their captors. :)
