You an use prevent - a - mite for lizards if you have any other reptiles near or around the infected on be sure to make sure they don't have nights. This medicine works on all reptiles

I had an outbreak not to long ago myself. I saved a pair of infested ball pythons from petco. Almost everything on the market for over the counter is completely useless. There isn’t a regulation on this kinda stuff in the pet trade so industries can pretty much claim whatever they want. I highly HIGHLY recommend taking them into a professional. They have access to a powder made from chrysanthemums that is safe for your reptile and kills the mites. Generally, you dab a little in every corner of the cage, leave it there for 3 to 5 hours and then remove. It draws the bugs in and then boom bam, kills them. I wouldn’t recommend leaving your reptile in the enclosure though. The only sure way to kill them off your reptile is to inject them with something that pretty much poisons the blood in your reptile they then die off.
