While looking for substrate for my hoggies, I noticed they had a new product at petco called "millet desert blend" by imaginarium or some brand like that. Has anyone had experience with using millet grains as substrate? And what would be the pro's cons. It's basically grass grains from what I have read. Have never heard of this before.

I think millet is bird seed. I've read of people having good luck with it for desert species due to digestibility. I have it at the top of my list for chuckwalla substrate should I decide to go with a granular material.
