Meal Worms Dying In Leo Gecko Cage

Hi, I have had my gecko for a little over a year. I have always put meal worms in a non-escape dish after dusting them with calcium dust. I put some old veggies or a potato chunk in there for them to eat and quench their thirst. The meal worms usually last more than a week, sometimes more than 2 weeks, which is really nice so I dont have to basically hand feed my gecko, and she doesnt over eat either.

Recently, my meal worms have been dying in only a few days. I switched my dusting to ReptoCal but thats the only thing that has changed. I moved the light I have in the cage a little more to one side thinking that the light was frying them but the light has been in the same spot for months before that so not sure why that would do it.

Any suggestions on why this might be happening?
