Today I put the ultimate male in with a 9-10 year old female and he has made a sperm web already.
Get ready for some Singapore blue spiderlings people. 001.jpg

Yes. The male gets his sex organs upon his final "ultimate" molt. He takes his sperm places it in a web that looks like a hammock, than draws the drop of sperm into his pedipalp organ. makes drumming noised upon approaching the female to differentiate him from prey. Upon the male's approach the female will pose receptively, the male will first lock his legs on the female both face to face the male will mate than often run for his life. Some males also get hooks on their front legs but some species do not possess them.

She is now gravid (pregnant), and cannibalizing the male. She tore one of his legs off for good measure.

Approx.30 day gestation after that she will spin the eggsac and guard it for 45-55 days. Than the fun of separating a 7'' long tarantula from her eggsac. That is adrenaline filled. After I can relax and put 150+ spiderlings in separate containers!
