While I was crusing the forums I noticed that this thread hasn't been updated so here is a update.

On Jan. 2, the 112th Congress adjourned, having narrowly avoided sending the country over the so-called fiscal cliff – and, better yet, putting the final nail in the coffin of HR 511.  If a bill fails to pass both the House and Senate during the two year session, it “dies” on adjournment and must be re-introduced and go through the entire committee process from scratch, and is assigned a new bill number.   And so, HR 511 is now officially “dead”.

But as stated, this doesn't mean that the fight is over. The same folks that started this one will likely start another.

Our government tries to stop the idiots who buy Burma and release them for fun, but doesn't understand the responsible people in the world like us. I might only be thirteen, but I feel that this bill should be DEAD, and the responsible people like us should get to transport our reptiles!
