How Should I Clean This?

Hey everyone! Tomorrow is the first day that I will completely clean out Lucky's enclosure. Lately he's been pooing all over his stick, and I'm wondering how I should disinfect it? It's a natural aspen branch. It's the only thing I worry about seeing I just have to replace the newspaper and wash his tile.

Edit: I know about using a small amount of diluted bleach to scrub the walls, but the branch is not sealed like the walls are!

I would wash it with some warm water and scrub it with an old toothbrush then maybe stick it in the oven for a little bit on a low temp?

You can clean it with a little bit of bleach water solution. Just give it a few rinse/soaks with clean water after. If you have it, add some dechlorination drops to one of the rinses.

I use Healthy Habitat and scrub using a brillo pad.

Me too. And the Healthy Habitat has the added bonus of removing odor!

It's safe enough to use while your animal is still in the enclosure and completely natural. I wouldn't use anything else.

I use Healthy Habitat also for general clean up, works great on glass too.

I would scrub it with water and then bake it at a low temp.

I have never used healthy habitat so I can't really chime in on this.
