my 2 ATBs wont eat. can anyone think of a reason why?
I'm afraid that we will need a bit more info than that!
How big are they? How long have you had them? What are their caging specs (size, temps, humidity, etc)? When did they last eat and what? The more details we get the better chance our ATB folks can help you.
ATBs wont eat
one is about 6' and the other is 4 and a half to 5 foot they are each in a 55galln tank and the last time the big one ate is about a month or so ago and im not sure about the little one.
When my corallus go off feed i find this works. At night let all the remaining heat from the heat source cool wheather it be an UTH or overhead lamp etc.. After the cage cools, Put the prey item under a heat lamp until the rodent is pretty dang hot ( not fure singed hot, just really warm). Than on forceps put the rodent where the amazon can see it, and this usually gets there attention. Allot of other methods out there but i find this works best with corallus, super heating the food.
