Hey, Im fairly new to owning a lizard. Hes gone from being totally green when I bought him 5 days ago (Monday June 3rd), THen on the second day turned completely brown on his back side. His underbelly is still very green. He's now having skin coming off his back, but the petsmart guy that we bought zippy from said he wouldn't start shedding for a few more months.

His tank consists of a few branches that we rinsed completely off a rocks, a pool, a basking rock for him. He has a heating pad on the underside of the tank under the basking rock. bedding consists of bark, his humidity is at 65%-85% normally. During the middle of the night it goes down too 45% but we fix it right away. his basking rock wont go any higher then 82 deg and his cooler side is 70-75 deg normally.

We feed him meelworms and crickets. He wont eat veggies or fruits he doesn't take any interest in it.

Please help :/ im worried that something is going to happen and want to fix this right away!

Hi, can you put a few photos up of the whole enclosure, then give details of the type and wattage of heat bulb/UVB bulb/tube and distance that is from the surface of the lizard when basking. Then tell us which type of thermometer/hygrometer you`re using, (analogue or digital) and does it have a probe for checking the surface temps? Finally, the enclosure size in cm or inches if possible (do it in this order; length, width, height). Sorry for all the questions, but it`s most important to get these details before offering advise. Thanks!
