Handling New Baby Iguana?

    The picture above is my new axanthic iguana. I've had him for a week now and was wondering what you recommend as far as handling? When to start? How often? Length of time being handled, etc.

    He's eating well. Looks healthy and happy. He's still flighty and tries to avoid being picked up at first.

    I've handled him a little thus far and it's been going well just want more information.

    A week should be sufficient as long as he is eating well. Try coaxing him to you with food instead of just chasing him around the cage.
