I was wondering if anyone had tried feeding F/T insects. I only have one tarantula, so it's not worth it to raise crix or anything, yet it's too much of a hassle to just order the food when I need it. I was thinking I could buy a couple of hornworms and freeze them. Nobody around here sells them, or else I'd go that route. I know my T will eat frozen, because I've fed him F/T pinkies before.

F/T will work for a T or a scorpion. Well, they'll eat them anyway. I'm not sure if it would decrease the nutritional value of the insect in any way or not. Don't know why it would, but then again, I don't know why it wouldn't either. Anybody know? If you dust the bug with vitamin and calcium supplement it should be ok I'd think. You can also buy canned crickets and stuff though too if ya wanna go that route.
