    I know..... are boas or pythons native in Australia or are they invasive?

    This particular snake looks like a water python, Liasis fuscus, and they are native to Australia. The Woma Python is also a native, as for boas, I can't be sure. There are probably many more native constrictors, but I'm no expert.

    There are quite a number of native Aussie pythons. Many of them quite spectacular!
    I am not aware of any native boa species,...

    I do not think there are native boas in Australia, though they are on almost all of the surrounding islands and land masses.
