Foam Inserts for Vivs?

    Hey everyone,

We are trying a foam insert for one of our 18"x18"x24" enclosures for a pair of leucs. The idea is that it helps to provide for a very humid environment while acting as a filter. There is a waterfall that flows through the enclosure and pools at the bottom. We maintain the level of water appropriate for the filtered pump we are using but have river rocks at the bottom to ensure the water level is also appropriate for the darts. As for the plants, the roots are cleaned of dirt and planted directly into a cut into the foam. Does anyone have any stories about these? I cannot find much about them. I will certainly update you with our successes and failures :). A pic is attached. Please tell me your thoughts.

It looks very nice. The extent of my knowledge of foam inserts is that superworms and crickets will eat right through them.
