    I would never do that. Its not the first one I mis-identified a snake. It surely wont be the last.

    We do not have Banded water snakes here. It surely is not a Kingsnake.

    Cool pictures! I've never seen a snake while field herping... Then again, my definition of field herping is walking around the tiny marsh behind my house... not much but frog and mosquitos! lol
