It just wouldn't be feeding day without me getting tagged.
Oops! Ouch! Did they at least eat?
He was a ball python that got me. He was just a tad to anxious to eat lol
Lol, what's July 4th without a little red (blood that is)? I was moving my white-lipped python today and he tagged me twice...once on my right arm and once on my left thumb. Ash, reptile love.
I just wish they would show their love in a less painful and bloody way lol
I use tongs. Got tagged putting him in his feeding tub. He decided to use the hook as an opportunity to launch at me. The little **** is to smart for his own good lol
That is one reason. I feed inside their enclosure. Cuts down on feeding day problems like that.
I only feed the balls in separate tubs. We have had some issues with the balls getting substrate stuck in thier mouth. It also gives me a chance to make sure they are in good shape and clean their cages. I'm a hands on type of guy lol
My son's 1yr old bp tags me just about every feeding now when I get him out of the tank to transfer to the feeding box. *lol*
That's why I think snake hooks are the best invention ever made lol
I see what you mean. But I have a 4 year old son (shadow) and 8 ball pythons. I generally clean a week after they eat. I always have the snakes out during the week so I inspect them then.
