I'm curious as to where you all buy your feeder mice. Do you prefer to buy them online or at your local pet store?

Local shows or when there is a really good sale, online from RodentPro or MiceDirect.

1000x online. The only pet store near me is PetSmart, which Isn't very smart if they try to charge $11 for six pinkies.
But, granted I only have one snake, buying in small quantities is a pain. I get mine from Backwater Reptiles- $50 for 50 fuzzies shipped.

Mostly I go to reptile shows and stock up their. There is a rodent breeder within a reasonable driving distance of home, I can stock up from him if I need to. But I can usually plan my needs for the 3-4 months between shows pretty well.

I've looked into ordering online, every place I found wanted to murder me on shipping.

Well, I don't do mice really, but when I need some new rats or something smaller I go to the local show. We're lucky to have a couple near me once a month and there is a frozen supplier and live dealer both there. Even mom-n-pop stores prices can be prohibitive.
