Isn't this just extraordinary and wonderful? I love it. Giant 20kg jellyfish spotted in an estuary in Cornwall - video | Environment | theguardian.com The wonders of the ocean! I am totally in awe here. My daughter was stung by a Portugese Man o' War when she was a child and she was very ill. She still bears the scars on her legs, and the horror and pain of it will always be in her memory - and mine. We were both swimming in the ocean off the south coast of Jamaica when it happened, and I thought it was a shark attack. I grabbed her and pushed her ahead of me, swimming desperately for the shore (not far off). This one in the article here looks harmless. And adorable. I wish it well in its quest to survive. Not that I don't also wish the Man o' War well too.....well, maybe just a bit less of a wish. Hmmmmm.
