My wife surprised me with an exo terra large terrarium for the new bearded dragon i want to get. Im debating on the lighting setup i want to go with. I was thinking about trying the UVB 200 compact florescent. Does anyone know how good or bad they are?

Definitely not the best way to go. Exo Terra generally is a pretty bad brand for UV light bulbs. For a bearded dragon, you'll want to get some good linear fluorescent tubes. The best nowadays are the T5 High Output from either ZooMed or Arcadia. Get a fixture with a reflector in it that covers about 2/3 to 3/4 of the enclosure.

I figured they were still not very good. Ive been reading great things about the new T5, i may go that route or try a Mega Ray MVB.
