I love all of my herps but I don't kiss mine ever. I don't think it is worth getting sick. Do you kiss yours?

No. Having known someone that went thru salmonella poisoning I would just as soon not experience it first hand!
And everytime there is a salmonella case the first thing they blame it on is keeping herps!!!!!!!!!! :(

I don't physically kiss my snakes. I make kissing noises and Monty likes to put his chin on the top of my nose.
When I was 6, I kissed our Great Dane on his slobbery mouth and was throwing up all night  I don't kiss too many animals now.
But I love to cuddle and snuggle and hug and my snakes get all of that plus kissing noises.

I vote NO!! And when I do my eduactional talks to children I explain to them why we need to wash our hands and never put them or a herp near our mouths. It's far too easy for the parents, and lawers, to blame the animals.
